In this program you will:
- Design, stage and install commercial wiring in metal stud walls and suspended ceiling systems.
- Interpret blueprints and layout design to stage and install low-voltage building projects, such as teledata, security and fire alarms.
- Install alternative energy projects, such as wind and solar power.
- Pursue apprenticeship opportunities with an electrical contractor, allowing students to be employed while in school.

College opportunities: Tuition-free programs are available through IBEW apprenticeships that can lead to degrees from Franklin University or Ohio University. In addition, Pickaway-Ross enjoys articulation agreements with Columbus State Community College and Hocking College.
