Zane Trace

All Ohio Career Day

Six members of the Zane Trace FCCLA chapter attended the All Ohio Career Day with the Columbus Blue Jackets in March.
Members had the opportunity to ice skate on the rink and then hear from employees who are involved in setting up and producing hockey games.
Other events in which chapter members took part was a tour of the Ronald McDonald House. Members of Zane Trace Family & Consumer Science classes had sewn pillow cases to be donated to families who are staying at the house.

Zane Trace wins Bozick Trophy

Members of the Zane Trace chapter collected $432 from sponsors to be able to take part in the Bowl for Kids' Sake fund raiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
This was part of the $1,478 that was collected by all of the FCCLA chapters at the satellite programs at Chillicothe, Circleville, Huntington, Paint Valley, Unioto and Zane Trace.
Because of its efforts in collecting the most donations, Zane Trace was awarded the Bozick Trophy, a traveling award. This was the second consecutive year that Zane Trace won the award.
The award is named for the late Ann Anderson Bozick, who was an FCCLA educator and longtime supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
