High Stakes Testing
PRCTC is an authorized testing center for many professional certification and licensure tests such as Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADC), National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), and Dietetics (CDR). COMPASS testing for high school students is also available.
WorkKeys
WorkKeys assessments in Applied Math, Locating Information, and Reading for Information are required for full time students and job ready candidates. The ACT Website: http://www.act.org/workkeys/ offers sample test items in each skill area.
WorkKeys testing is offered on Mondays at 9am, Wednesday at 1pm, and Thursday at 6pm. Click here to register online.
Job Ready Program
Local companies are partnering with Pickaway-Ross Career and Technology Center to locate qualified entry level employees. Job seeking candidates complete WorkKeys testing and the resulting scores are entered into the Job Ready database. Companies may access this database to fulfull their hiring needs.
Learning Lab
Opportunities to improve skill levels are available either in the classroom setting or online using curriculum developed by Key Train. For more information on improving scores, please call the ABLE lab at (740) 779-2035.

Thank you for your interest in the Job Ready Program.
The registration fee is $45.00. Please bring a photo ID. The ACT Workkeys test takes 3 hours to complete. Please arrive 30 minutes early.

Those who attain the required ACT WorkKeys scores will be included in the Job Ready Database that forms a "hiring pool". Area companies may arrange to have names randomly drawn from that hiring pool when seeking new employees.
