Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center provides, free of charge, services that meet the employment goals of students, past graduates, and employers. Students approved for Job Placement and early dismissal will have met requirements determined by the Job Placement Supervisor. Criteria for placement include academic performance, skill level in their area of training, attendance, attitude, conduct, and following directions and safety procedures.

Job orders that cannot be accepted for early dismissal include the following:
- Any position in which the student will not be covered by Worker's Compensation Insurance or other insurance that covers the student in case of accident or injury.
- Any position where the employee is considered and independent contractor.
- Any position that involve employment in a private residence.
- Any position not related to the Career Technical program the student is enrolled in.
Job posting excluded by these requirements will, in most cases, be posted on our Job Placement Bulletin Board for juniors and seniors desiring to work during non-school hours.
