  • Develop knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and infection control and patient care skills
  • Use professional medical equipment and technology to improve the health and wellness of others.

Certifications: State-tested nursing assistant (STNA), first aid/CPR

College opportunities: Pickaway-Ross enjoys articulation agreements with Central Ohio Technical College, Columbus State Community College and Shawnee State University.

Career paths: nurse, nurse practitioner, doctor, radiology technician, patient care technician, therapy assistant and laboratory technician
