2021 PICKAWAY-ROSS SENIOR COMPLETION CEREMONY

The 2021 Pickaway-Ross Senior Completion Ceremony honoring the Class of 2021 will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. The ceremony will be held at VA Memorial Stadium, 17273 State Route 104, in Chillicothe. At this ceremony, seniors will receive their career passports. High school diplomas are given by the home schools.

COVID protocols will be in place for this event including masks and social distancing measures.

The ceremony will also be available live through Facebook Live. You can find the link to our live event HERE or you may tune in to our website to watch the live broadcast. 
Seniors must have their permission slips signed by a parent/guardian prior to Wed., May 12. You can download a copy of that form HERE.

TICKETS

Due to COVID restrictions and social distancing, each student is being issued four (4) tickets for admission. Tickets will be given directly to the student. Tickets will be distributed beginning May 6, 2021.

CEREMONY REHEARSAL

A ceremony rehearsal will be held Wednesday, May 12th at 12:30 p.m. at VA Memorial Stadium, 17273 State Route 190, Chillicothe. Bus transportation to ceremony practice will be provided from Pickaway-Ross to VA Memorial Stadium for students who do not have transportation. Seniors may report directly to rehearsal on May 12 if they have their own transportation. Otherwise, they will report to school first and catch the bus from PRCTC.

ALL SENIORS MUST ATTEND THIS REHEARSAL IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CEREMONY!!  NO EXCEPTIONS!!

DRESS CODE

The required dress for the ceremony is your home school cap and gown. You may borrow a cap and gown from the PRCTC Guidance Office if you do not have one from your home school. See Mrs. Semancik in the Counseling Office. Students with unacceptable attire will be denied access to the ceremony.

Acceptable attire will be: 
Girls – street-length dress or nice skirt/slacks and a blouse
Boys – dress pants and shirt (ties, suits & coats are optional.)

Photos

Mears Photography will be taking official graduation photos that will be available for order.  Students will be given order forms at the mandatory ceremony practice on Wed., May 12 at 12noon. 

STUDENT DuES, FEES AND MORE..

All student dues, library fines for overdue books, lunch fees and any other outstanding balance, must be taken care of prior to the end of the school day on Friday, May 7th. Payments made after Friday, April 30th must be cash, money order or credit card.

Students with an outstanding balance of any kind after May 7th WILL BE PERMITTED to participate in the senior ceremony but WILL NOT receive a full career passport at that time. The student will be given an empty passport as he or she crosses the stage. Once ALL outstanding balances are paid, the student’s career passport will be made available beginning Monday, May 17th.

COVID ProtoCols


  1. We will be observing all state guidelines for K-12 outdoor graduation/completion ceremonies. 
  2. Masks are required by all in attendance.
  3. Any attendee (student, staff, or guest) who has COVID-19 symptoms or has been recently exposed to someone with COVID-19 should stay home.
  4.  Please maintain social distancing. Groups of students and staff should be at least 3 feet apart and groups of guests at least 6 feet apart. 
  5.  Attendees, please wash or sanitize hands when entering the venue at the provided hand-washing and/or sanitizing stations throughout the venue. 
  6. Signs will be posted to help maintain social distancing and mask requirements.


Inclement Weather Plan

In the event of rain, we will continue our ceremony if it is lightly raining. Ponchos will be provided for students on the field. If it becomes a downpour, we will hold a drive-through-style ceremony at Main Campus on Thursday, May 20 at a time TBD.
