SPORTS MEDICINE TECHNOLOGY

In this program, students will:

Learn how the human body moves and how to train it by designing and implementing exercise programs. Students also will learn the nature of injuries and how to treat them through first aid, taping, bracing, range of motion, strengthening and modalities.

  • AMCA Physical Therapy Aide

  • American Heart Association BLS

  • OSHA 10-hour

  • Lean Six Sigma

  • First Aid/CPR

  • NASM Certified Personal Trainer *starting Fall '23

Students can earn up to 9 college credits upon successful completion of program courses.

  • Physical Therapy

  • Athletic Training

  • Personal Training

  • Radiology Technician

  • Physician's Assistant

    (post-secondary education required for some occupations).
