Students in the RAMTEC program at Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center concluded another successful year by earning 22 industry credential points and gaining valuable hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing and automation.
Throughout the year, students completed certifications including OSHA 10 General Industry, FANUC HandlingTool, SACA Industry 4.0 credentials, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and First Aid/CPR. These credentials help students build technical knowledge, workplace readiness, and career preparation for high-demand industries.
Students also participated in industry tours at Anomatic and Kenworth, where they explored modern manufacturing environments and automation systems firsthand. In addition, industry professionals and workforce partners visited the classroom to share career insight, technical expertise, and employment opportunities available throughout the region.
Programs like RAMTEC provide students with opportunities to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences while preparing for careers in advanced manufacturing, robotics, engineering, and skilled trades.
