Last week, seniors in our RAMTEC Robotics & Manufacturing program earned their Allen-Bradley PLC certifications, adding another valuable industry-recognized credential to their résumés before graduation.

The certification demonstrates students’ real-world skills in programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial automation, technology widely used in today’s advanced manufacturing environments.

Earning the credential can help RAMTEC students stand out to employers as they pursue high-demand careers in advanced manufacturing, robotics and industrial maintenance. It also provides a strong foundation for students who choose to continue their education after graduation.

By earning industry credentials while still in high school, Pickaway-Ross students can leave the classroom with documented skills that help them take the next step into the workforce or further education.
