Amy Groff speaks with students during Career-Tech Kickoff who are in her Commercial Food Careers program.

Some exciting changes are coming to Pickaway-Ross this year.

One is in the Commercial Food Careers program. Longtime Chillicothe High School Family & Consumer Science instructor Amy Groff has joined main campus to lead the Commercial Foods program.

Amy brings experience and a passion for culinary arts that will help in reimagining elements of that lab.

Kevin Krebs is transitioning to a role as a work-based learning coordinator. Kevin will work as a much-needed resource, particularly to off-campus instructors, who are looking for ways to meet the new ODE requirements surrounding work-based learning.

Amy and Kevin will also be working together to find ways to collaborate with cafeteria manager Angela Bell to create more options and an enhanced menu for our students and staff members each week.

Amy joined Commercial Foods supervisor Dana Anderson in visiting career centers in our region to learn best practices regarding integrating this program into food services and creating opportunities for students in the program as well.
